Wamiqa Gabbi’s Early Life
Gabbi was born to a Punjabi household. Her father is an accomplished Hindi and Punjabi novelist. She attended St. Xavier’s School and later graduated from D.A.V College in Chandigarh.
Gabbi debuted in the Hindi film Jab We Met (2007), playing one of Geet’s (Kareena Kapoor) relatives. She appeared in the Punjabi film Tu Mera 22 Main Tera 22 (2013), alongside Yo Yo Honey Singh and Amrinder Gill. She was nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the PTC Punjabi Film Awards.
